Ear Suctioning
One of the most common causes of hearing loss is obstruction to the ear. These obstructions block sound and muffle your hearing and can cause pain and/or infection if left untreated. Whether the obstruction is caused by ear wax, foreign objects, insects, impaction it is integral to ear health that these blockages are cleared.
Gail utilises a series of graduating, smaller gauge suction tips whilst suctioning and/or sterile instruments to remove obstructions from the ear. Guided by a top-of-the-range German Zeiss microscope, ear suctioning is accurate and safe for all ages.
After the micro suctioning treatment once ear canals are clear you will know if your hearing issues are related to your hearing aids, in which case you will need to follow up with your audiologist.
